More fanart of Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica!! (é”法少女ã¾ã©ã‹â˜†ãƒžã‚®ã‚«)
This, took the most effort out of all.
Featuring Mami Tomoe, the elegant and beautiful magical riflewoman who loves tea.
To be honest, I’m not as happy about this one compared to the other two I’ve done previously.
The problem probably lies with the fact that I didn’t really concept out the background and Mami together =/
The amount of effort I had to do for this one was significantly more than the previous two combined as well >.<
Anyway, here you go~

A true artist always criticizes herself :).
I did really like the style of your MadoMagi Fanart last week, but I definitely like this one too. Good job!

:3 Thank you
I can definitely see your effort here. I think you noticed your weakness in drawing faces, so you concentrated on making this piece look like something that’s not like your usual generic character face. You’re breaking your own mold & that’s good.
Your previous works are (piece)s they’re great as a ‘piece’, but this one is more of ‘character’ piece, so i think you should highlight the character more instead of hiding her like Wally in the middle of the giant background.
In manga/anime, characters are the moneymakers. Lots of people don’t care about the rest if you can make a great character. The background, tone and style should only serve to highlight the character’s personality or they’re just distractions from the character.
Not saying that you should only create ‘character’ pieces, but I’m just giving my 2 cents on character pieces in general.
